Patterns are also know as PSP Fills or Backgrounds, and vice versa. We will also show you how to make some very cool accents to go with your background designs! You can use these to design unique accents as custom logos, button, dividers, and so much more. You can then use your custom patterns for website backgrounds, scrapbooking pages, posters, flyers, candy wrappers, and for other graphic design projects. You will learn how to use Selection Tools, 3D Effects, Cutout, Shadows, Pick tools, Kaleidoscopes and other tools.

Tutorial Guide What You Need

The Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 tutorial includes detailed step by step directions. You will learn how to use multiple tools and how how to manipulate PSP Layers. You can use most versions of Paint Shop Pro, but each version might have moved their tools, effects, and options into other areas of the menu bars, but you can still follow along if you improvise.

1. Internet Browser such as IE, Firefox, and a Media Player such as VLC, Flash, Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player.
2. Corel Paint Shop Pro
3. This Zip File that contains the wild flower picture tube. Or the transparent PNG file.
4. You may want to visit my PSP Tubes page to select tubes to help design your custom backgrounds.

Special Pattern Notes:

Where is the Patterns folder in PSP X2 Ultimate

C:\Documents and Settings\PCname\My PSP Files\Patterns
(this is your personal collection that the installation program set up for you)

C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2\Corel_08
(this is the actual path to the installed program and contains the files that came with your PSP program)

(this is the actual path to the tubes installed program and contains the files that came with your PSP program)

(this is the actual path to the special folder PSP installed just for you and your tubes)

The Wild Flower PNG transparent image just open the image in PSP and follow the tutorial.
