Paint Shop Pro Tutorials site offering free training tutorials featuring Corel Paint Shop Pro X2, and the new PaintShop Photo Pro X3. You will also find tutorials on Animation shop, and Adobe Dreamweaver.

Spinning Background Animation- Learn how to make a simple spinning background animation. This Paint Shop Pro tutorial uses effects that came with Paint Shop Pro, and then you must animate the graphic with your favorite animation program.

Floaties Text Animation- Learn how to add pre-made animated background floaties into your hollow texts. Each letter will have its very own animated fill. This is a somewhat advanced tutorial, but we have set it up so that newbies can also enjoy this tutorial.

Graffiti Style Text- Learn how to make a creative text graphic with this Paint Shop Pro Tutorial. Make your name, your friends name, or any type of text for your social networking and more. When you are done desiging your text in Paint Shop Pro, you can save them as tubes, JPG, PNG, and share with your friends.

PSP Tube Basics- Learn how to make make tubes, save them, and use them in your Paint Shop Pro X3 program. You will also learn a little more about the PSP Tubes directories, and how to organize them.

PSP Raindrops or Tears- Learn how to make a custom raindrops, teardrops, or anything else of that shape. You will learn how to design and tube your new raindrops. PSPX3

PSP Gradients- Learn how to make a custom gradient and use it in PSPX3. You can use gradients as backgrounds in web pages, and in graphic projects. Text Watermarks- You will learn how to use the Paint Shop Pro X3 to add opaque text watermarks to your graphics using effects, and layer blend modes. There are no real rules when it comes to watermarking your graphics, but the tips here will inspire you.

Diamond Sparkle Text- You will learn how to use the Paint Shop Pro X3, fonts, and a few effects to get your name up in Diamonds! You will learn how to use the font tool, selections, tubes, layers, effects, and more. You can make a still graphic or you can animate your graphic to use in emails, websites, and other Internet applications.

Simple watermarking- You will learn how to use the Paint Shop Pro X3 watermarking feature to add a quick, but effective watermark to your photographs.

Quick Easy Photo Effectsl- You will learn how to use the Paint Shop Pro X3 to add quick creative effects to your photograph. Using a freeware plugin, you will have several options to choose from, and we show you one called moonlight. We will also use pattern with blend modes to give the photo a texture effect. Custom Ribbon, Bows, and Lacel- You will learn how to use the Paint Shop Pro X3 to design your own custom ribbons, bows, and lace. You will also learn how to use multiple tools within the program. I will show you how to put all the pieces together to make the main object and save as PSP Tube, and PNG transparent image. (see full ribbon sample)

Background Eraser Tool- You will learn how to use the Paint Shop Pro background eraser tool. Learn how to remove backgrounds from your images, with the PSP background eraser tool that comes with PSP X2 and PSP X3. You will also learn other ways to clean up the image with other tools like the smoothing tool, eraser, tool settings, and more. We will also use a picture frame, and save our main object as a PSP Tube. You only need a photograph, and Paint Shop Pro to complete this tutorial.

Blinky Name Animation Tutorial- You will learn how to make pixel style blocks where you will add letters for your name. We will then make a confetti tube, and add confetti to the name block graphic. The final image will be a blinky name tag animation. You will learn how to manipulate layers, use the paintbrush too, materials pallet, and more. This tutorial was made with the new version of PaintShop Photo Pro X3, but you can use X, X1, X2, and you do not need any plugins.

Custom Grass Blades Tutorial- You will learn how to make blades or clumps of grass for use as tubes, clipart, and more. You will learn how to manipulate layers, use shapes, effects, and more. Paint Shop Photo Pro X3 Intro- New users to Paint Shop Pro whom purchased the X3 version should review this PSPX3, launch and setup introduction before viewing our PSPX3 tutorials. All tutorials above this one from this point on will be PSPX3 unless PSPX4 is released.

Make tubes and smooth them out- You will learn how to clean up an image to tube an object. Select the edges to smooth out the jagged edges, and then take it even a step further with smoothing the tube out and give it character using Plugins - Filters.
