Tutorial information: This video will show you how to make your own custom designed web page. Learn how to do image slicing and image mapping within the PSP program. You will also learn how to use layers, tubes, text, shadows, and more. You will then learn how to take the generated information from Paint Shop Pro, and add it to an HTML editor to make the graphics become an active web page. Learn how to work with multiple tools within PSP
Use Paint Shop Pro to image slice and image map
The Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 tutorial includes detailed step by step directions. You will learn how to use multiple tools and effects within the program, and you will learn how to manipulate PSP Layers. Each version of these programs might have moved their tools, effects, and options into other areas of the program. If you have another version then what the tutorial calls for then you can improvise. I do recommend you at least try to follow a few tutorials as they will give you enough knowledge of the program to move on to more advanced tutorials.
What you need for this tutorial
The most common items you will need to used these tutorials are:
1. Internet Browser such as IE, Firefox, and a Media Player such as VLC, FLash, Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player, Real Player, and more.
2. You may need the Macromedia Flash Plug-in Get it here.
3. Paint Shop Professional (version 9 or higher preferred) Free Trial - Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 Ultimate
4. HTML editor such as
Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 - Full or CoffeeCup HTML Editor
(please note we use Dreamweaver in this tutorial)
5. Optional various Tubes of your choice. You can grab all the tubes you need from out tubes vault.
6. You may want to visit our PSP Graphic Program set-up page to get an idea of what the program is like if you haven't used it before.
7. Just watching this video will help you learn how to use the program. No need to follow along.
