Flea Treatment Warning Public AwarenessMichele's Paint Shop also promotes public awareness to let you all know of a product that HAS and CAN kill your pets. So many people trust the household names such as Hartz, and Zodiac and never even think that their pets are suffering from its use. It is a FACT that these flea drops have killed and harmed many animals all over the United States. Civil lawsuit cases have been filed and won! This is not a joke, and I am asking you for HELP.

Please help me promote awareness to this horrible poison so that we can help prevent deaths. Visit www.hartzvictims.org to find out that this warning is TRUE. You need to know that it is just not the drops that are killing pets. The drops, powder, collars, shampoos, and more are KILLING pets everywhere so please help. We must get these Flea and Tick drops out of our homes and off the retail shelves!

This is a major problem because there are so many products on the market today that we will lose this fight unless you today do something about it! Look at this huge product list of deadly pesticides that are packaged by brands you seem to know and trust? Everything on that list "IS" harmful, and if you want to trust Mr & Mrs Corporate Brand then you're just being silly.

Lets fight this together. They will continue to put deadly products on the shelves of your family supermarkets, pets stores, and more IF we continue to purchase these products and stop promoting awareness! Did you know there is a website where you can read actual cases, and even see the horrible photos of animals that were harmed by Hartz products? The horrible stories of beloved family pets dying violent deaths in massive seizures, and severe pain for hours and even days before death?

Did you know your Vets may not know about this yet? Do you know what to do if you used or have been using these products? Please for the sake of all the animals around the world please tell everyone you know about this. I DO!

When I am out shopping and I'm in the pet isle or if I'm in a pet store I tell everyone in that area that the Flea products are killing and harming our pets. I have on hand a few post its with the URL www.hartzvictims.org and I pass them out. I've told all of my family members, friends, neighbors, forums, blog's, and I will continue to. Would you be willing to do this? I hope you will and if you do let us know you have. I would love to hear from you and you tell me how you are helping to prevent our pets and other peoples pets from this danger.

Start helping today by visiting www.hartzvictims.org and get the facts so that you can promote awareness in your community.

A past heart breaking post:
Message from a victims mommy: Ozzy became apart of the family and he was my best friend. I lost my best friend to Hartz 3 in one Flea & Tick Spray. I would like to tell anyone who has animals DO NOT USE ANY HARTZ PRODUCTS-IT IS DANGEROUS AND WILL KILL YOUR ANIMAL. If I would've had any clue my cat was going to die I would've never bought the product. I was devastated and still am while writing this. What is sad though it that its still on shelves at mine and your* local Walmart. Plz SPREAD AWARENESS ABOUT HOW BAD HARTZ IS.
Thank You,
Crystal

YOU CAN HELP the people like Crystal above, and their pets around the world as they need YOUR voice to become educated on this danger, and since our pets cannot speak for themselves, they need people like you to help them spread this awareness! Thank you!!!!!

IF YOU MUST use pesticides there is no excuse to use Over The Counter Flea Products. Get the proper treatments from you licensed Vet. The difference in costs is not to bad, and think of the costs you will have to pay to rush your pet to the Vet and the treatment costs!!!!

Please be sure to advise your pet care provider that you have used this harmful product in the past. It is important to have this listed in their medical history file. If you must use a insecticide on your animal please be sure to get it directly from your vet via prescription.

Safe Flea Tick Treatment Naturally Remove Fleas and Ticks

I myself prefer natural ways of flea removal on my animals. Here is the way I prefer to keep up with any fleas that jump on my animals or enter my home. This might seem like a lot of work to you, but in the end it will save your animals health from being put at risk and your pocket book from the expense. You will need a well made flea comb, white toilet tissue, light colored pillow case, a deep bowl 1/2 full of hot water with dawn dish detergent (the least amount of bubbles in the water is best), and patience. Take like 10 single pieces of toilet paper and put them in a pile, cut them in half. You will now have 20 pieces of TP. If you feel your animal is infested with fleas you will need more pieces of TP.

I know this all sounds weird, but trust me I have a point :)

1. Go into a room that has a solid floor (no carpeting), where you can keep your animal from running off. I suggest your bathroom. Place your bowl of hot soapy water within arms reach of your animal, but at a safe distance so they cannot knock it over. Spread out some of the TP pieces so you can grab them quickly when needed.

2. Place the light colored pillow case open on the floor in the area where you would like your animal to sit. Place your animal on the pillow case.

3. Begin to brush your animal with the flea comb. Be very careful to not fling the comb around. If you notice flea dirt falling from your animal onto the light colored pillow case then you know your animal has fleas. Be very careful with this flea dirt so that you do not spread it throughout your room.

4. I've found that when I brush and I find an area that has flea dirt then it usually has an adult female flea making a home in that spot. Keep brushing and checking the comb for fleas. BE CAREFUL those little suckers are fast, however you startle them so you have a brief moment to look without them jumping (very brief). If you find a flea in the comb, use your fingers and slide the flea out of the comb, and place it into the hot soapy water, and place a piece of toilet tissue over it immediately!! This will prevent the flea from jumping. Just keep a watch on them cause some will swim to the edge and find their way out.

5. I find fleas prefer to be under the neck, near the mouth, back thigh area and rear end of animal. If your animal has a bare belly or very little hair on the belly area then the fleas will be there to so check.

6. I suggested the 1/2 full bowl of water as you do not want to be putting animal hair into your toilet. It will eventually build up and clog or ruin your plumbing.

7. Okay you are to the point where you feel you have found most of the fleas on your animal, and you now have flea dirt, and floating fleas to deal with. Here is what you will do. Roll up your pillow case and bring it outside to a safe area and shake it out. Now what to do with the fleas. Well, I dump a cup of bleach into the water to kill the fleas, and once they are dead and soaked in the bleach water for at least 15 minutes I dump it outside in a safe area. Actually what I have started doing was just put the flea into the toilet, and then covering it, but all hair from my animal that does not have a flea in it goes onto a white piece of paper (white so you can see if there are fleas) and then when I am all done I roll up the paper, bag it and put it in the trash. I put some bleach or strong toilet bowl cleaner in my toilet, let it sit for 15 minutes (be sure they cannot jump), and flush the toilet.

You will have to do this daily for the first week, and then every other night for the next week. Please take it easy on your animals skin with the flea comb. Their skin can get sore and we do NOT want that. Once you notice one flea here and there then you can limit it to only three times a week until your sure you have nipped this in the butt. Remember one flea can lay hundreds of eggs and they hatch fast.

YOU MUST also vacuum your home daily and change your vacuum bag every day for the first week. Wash all animal bedding, and DO NOT use flea powder on your animals of their bedding EVER!

If you must use a flea control product be sure it is prescribed from you vet, or is recommended to you by your vet. Do NOT use dog drops on your cats, and vice versa. Before using any drops you must know your pets actual weight.

Please visit www.hartzvictims.org to learn more about the symptoms of your animal being poisoned by flea drops, and ways to prevent fleas. From what I have learned from reading several cases the animal starts having a reaction within minutes up to hours. NEVER leave you animal alone for over twenty-four hours after applying pesticides via prescribed drops or within the home.

A fellow pet owner named Joyce writes-
I found using a large mouth jar and in it a small amount of either 70% or 90% rubbing alcohol. You can put the flea in the jar and it dies right away. You can coat the comb with alcohol, and comb the animal as it slows down the fleas. Another tip you can put alcohol on a q-tip you can dab a flea on animal and it will slow the flea down which gives you the time so can use tweezers to catch it if a flea comb is not available
.

The point is that you do not need to put any chemicals on your pet. There are others ways you can help your pet, and if you can just take the extra time to do this naturally, your pet will be healthy and happy.
