Michele's Top Design Picks

I've had my Wacom Drawing Tablet now for almost six years, and not once has it let me down. In my early years I could never get my graphics to look neat and clean, but when I got the Wacom tablet my graphic life changed! This is why I've decided this should be my Top Pick.

Donation Information Note From MicheleFrom the desk of Michele's Paint Shop

I'm glad you stopped over to this page to learn more about why we have a donation button. It was unfortunate, but a recent injury to my husband made me realize that if anything was to happen to him I would likely have no choice but to shut down this website. I did not know if I would be able continue running this website. It was so frustrating knowing that I put so much time into the site, that it all could just vanish so fast. I just could not come up with a positive solution, and in the end I said we cannot predict the future, and we will deal with it. The only way I knew was to reach out to my visitors, and I simply ask our visitors if they found our site helpful would they please donate, and a few of you had faith in me and donated. I was able to save up enough and add to the donated amounts to hold off having to close the site during the end of 2010. We are so thankful to have visitors like you, and we will never forget those angels that came to us during such a hard time for my family and I thank you so very much.

Even more of a downer my husband has been laid-off since December 23, 2009. This lay-off is certain to continue until March 1st, 2010. During this time we will depend on donations and DVD sales from this site. I've decided I must make some kind of income on this site to pay for the costs, and of course buy the groceries.

I put in many hours to keep the site going with updated content, and to help the visitors. If I am not making tutorials or tubes, I am behind the scenes answering emails with step by step directions, private video instructions, and checking the site, optimizing it so others can find it. I spend 7 days a week, 8+ hrs a day here, and I am not complaining at all, but want our visitors to know it is a full time job for me. I love every minute of it, but just like anyone else I need to support my family.

We have always had no personal products or services to sell here at MPS. We only offered links to the software we use with the hopes someone will purchase from our link to receive a 2% share from the software company. In the end we make very little from this, but at times it is enough to buy a few Pizzas on a Friday night once a month, and I'm thankful to have the opportunity.

Everything I do here is free, and I want to keep it that way. I would hate to have to make a membership site and lock it up from the general public. I will stand firm as long as I can and never make people sign up for a membership to access my site, tubes, or tutorials. I will keep my faith and continue with hopes someone else is just as kind to offer a donation to say thanks.

I finally did come up with a solution so that everyone wins here. I've decided that those that donate to our website over a certain amount will get our first Paint Shop Pro Drive collection on a 4.7 GB DVD full of our tutorials, tubes, backgrounds gradients, files for the tutorials, our website, and freeware utilities we always recommend. This will help cover my costs, and hopefully enough to buy a few groceries each week. If someone doubles up on a donation I would send them two DVD's and so on. It is my way of saying thank you for being so kind to me and my family.

If you would like to donate please know that we have a verified Paypal account, and there is no hidden costs to anyone for making a donation, and you do not even have to have a Paypal account to use the service. If you do donate, and you have a moment, can you please enter a message to let us know what encouraged you to donate, and if there is anything we can do for you. We will do our best to help in anyway we can.

We appreciate you taking the time to read more about our donation information, and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Thank you!
Michele
