Web Page Design is more then just pretty pictures and text. Designers need to prepare for their designs with Colors, typography, illustrations, and more. Each aspect in a design should compliment each other, but yet contain the bold and soft textures to please the eye. Todays Web Designers are using CSS ( Cascading Style Sheets ) to design their layouts, typographics and colour-schemes. CSS allows us to design beautiful web pages which have cleaner code, and are easier to update if needed.

I highly recommend you take the time to learn more about CSS, and use it within your web page(s). CSS is typically one lengthy stylesheet that is relevant to a whole website. The way HTTP works, the browser will only download the CSS once from the web server and use the cached copy for the whole site. This makes for a faster loading web page which is critical in the design world.

Each color scheme set below contains a collection of colors that compliment each other. These collections are ideal for any web or graphic design project, and have been rated top in their color collections. Use one of the collections as a base to see what nice styles you can come up with. I've found the best sites start from something by mistake, or by using color collections you never even considered using. Go ahead and surprise yourself to see what kind of design you can come up with. The below are some of the very few, but popular collections.
