Using backgrounds fills and patterns to design your projects with PSP

Paint Shop Professional PSP Pattern Fills. My pattern fills and gingham check backgrounds were made by me with Corel Paint Shop Professional, and my Wacom pen tablet. Each of these can be used within your PSP program by placing them into the psp patterns folder. You can also use these as backgrounds on your website's, scrap booking projects, and more. These patterns are here for your creative pleasure so help yourself.

How To Use PSP Pattern Fill Collection:
How do you use these patterns & backgrounds? Where do you put them in PSP?

What are patterns - fills - backgrounds? These are graphics that are typically in the format of gif, jpg, and png. Each background usually is or can be optimized so that they will be smaller in file size for online use.

Use in PSP as a fill: You can save the backgrounds into your Paint Shop Professional "Patterns" folder.

Where do I put my patterns?

That can depend on which version of PSP you are using.

For PSP X2 you can use these locations. PSP allows you to choose your locations by going to file, preferences, file locations. However there are some standard folders you can use as shown below.

C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2\Corel_08

C:\Documents and Settings\My Stuff\My Documents\My PSP Files\Patterns

Fills from this site make a new folder as shown below, and set it to be used within the PSP program as shown above.

C:\Documents and Settings\My Stuff\My Documents\My PSP Files\Patterns\michelespaintshopcom

You use these as pattern fills in the Paint Shop Professional Program. You can also use these without PSP because they are in standard gif, jpg, or png format.
