My name is Michele Mililukas, and I am the owner of Michele's Paint Shop Newbie 101.

I wake up every day and I look forward to going to work. My adventure of design began back in 1995, and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to make it a career. It all came so natural to me, and I enjoyed working with others to design and market their business both online and off. When I had free time I would offer my advice to others through several different medias. During that time I would receive feedback from both my clients, and peers, saying that I have a natural talent in presenting instructive material, and that my tutorials are clear and easy to follow. This opened up a whole new world for me, and I began tutoring small classes on the basics of digital design. Today my network is growing into something I am very proud of, and I look forward to a successful future ahead.

The Internet is young, and constantly evolving. It provides me with the challenges and opportunities so that Michele's Paint Shop can grow each year. We have great plans for 2010, and you just may see more of us within other medias very soon.

The Sites Growth Behind the scenes

I work full time here at Michele's Paint Shop, updating site to be better organized, optimized, and fresh. The most popular sections of my site of course are the very popular Tube and Tutorial sections. Our feedback shows that people have enjoyed our mix of clean tube's, backgrounds, gradients, and most of all the helpful tutorials. The tutorials are great fun to make and all the questions we receive encourages me to make new tutorials. I've been seeing a 30% increase in traffic to these areas each month, and due to this I have expanded to offer more tutorials, services, and just good old PSP fun.

Last year an editor of a magazine was interviewing me and asked me what is your "signature" style, and my answer to that was not typical. I answered saying I've always been creative, and since I was a little girl you would find me drawing, coloring, calligraphy, reading about interior designs, country crafts, and more. What I like to do is take an incomplete idea or vision and put it into action in a very creative way. I guess if you were to give me a title I would likely prefer to be called a "Creative Thinker and Educator". Tell me what you want from a business named -- paper-cone, and I can visually see a whole new brand or graphic being born from just a few words. I'm not perfect, my grammar may not be great, and I cannot do everything in this business, but I sure like to give it a try. If I cannot do something I will learn how to do it and do my very best at it.

I've went through so many comfort zones over the years, but my longest run was working with Country - Primitive style graphics. This was great fun, but since then,I now enjoy,working with more of a cartoon style with a larger brighter color pallet. I try to mix things up a bit so that all visitors can find something interesting here at our site. Michele's Paint Shop has been in the top 100K websites in the world, and sees on average 1,000 unique people a day, and well over that in daily visits. I set reasonable goals, and when I reach a goal it encourages me to work harder. Like I said I love a good challenge, and when challenged it just makes me fight harder, and I get stronger with each challenge!

Where it has gone The past few years have been awesome fun

Today Michele's Paint Shop has grown to be a brand name within the Paint Shop Pro communities, and we have several professional friends and members in our network. Our web site continues to grow each week, and we are always working on it to make it better for our visitors. We changed our servers so that we could handle more traffic, and added a forum for our visitors to use. We do not plan on stopping anytime soon so be sure to check back with us often.

We have been published in the Official Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo Magazine Issue's 7 & 8, and our items have been included with the official PSPP CD. We are hopeful that all of the Paint Shop Pro users out there will give us a chance, and please feel free to introduce yourself in our forum, as I do enjoy meeting other people with similar interests.

Recently I've been tutoring both off, and online again to those that visit Michele's Paint Shop. If I have time to sit here at the computer, then I likely have time to offer what I've learned to you. We will continue to bring our visitors new information each month and would truly appreciate it if you would bookmark the site and come back soon. We thrive to only get better, and look forward to our future with Paint Shop Pro - Dreamweaver - Search Engine Optimization, and more. It has been fun, and I (we) look forward to waking up and going to work everyday.

I am married, and I have two children. I live in New Jersey, within a small waterfront community. I am part of a very close family, and support each other in everything we do. I like the simple things in life, and as long as my family is safe, healthy, warm, not hungry, and all of the bills are paid I am happy. I'm not the type of gal that needs a huge home, fast car, and expensive things. My goals in life are to raise two daughters into lovely young ladies, that are educated, and move onto supportive careers. My husband and I work very hard because our daughters have dreams, and we want to make them happen. Our youngest daughter wants to be a Veterinarian, and our oldest wants to study Political Science.

I have no tolerance for those that take drugs, bully others, or abuse animals. You will see me promoting awareness on these issues when I am not working or spending time with my family. I hope you can join me in this fight by reading the information below.

Bullies: This is an issue that upsets me deeply. We all have had our share of being bullied, but there are some cases that are so severe that children end their lives. Those that were able to get through it grow up into adults with trust and anxiety issues. If you see or hear of someone ever being bullied please stand up for them, and make your voice heard. It is a terrible thing to go through and I for one will never tolerate it. I ask those that are reading this now to think back to those you may have been bullying or bullied, even if it was 20 yrs ago. You may think it was something so simple, but the person being bullied never forgets, and they carry that for the rest of their lives. You should write that person to apologize... it can change their lives for the best!

Drugs: The only things that come from drug use is an addiction. Today, I remind you to check your medicine cabinets for addictive drugs, and if you do not need them to destroy them. Teens today are looking in your medicine cabinets, and one pill can begin a life long addiction, so please be sure to keep those types of medications locked up, or if you do not need them, destroy them!

If you know someone that is using drugs, start an intervention today, do not wait until it is to late. It is a fact that if you take drugs you will end up in jail, or dead as those are the only two ways out if you do not get help now. Do not allow Doctors to freely prescribe your children narcotic medications. If you know of a Dr. that is over prescribing to a family member or friend, please call the medical board and make sure they note it. Most drug addiction starts in a Doctors office these days. Do not let it happen to you or your loved ones.

If you know of a parent that is heavily using drugs, and has put their child in danger, then you must do the right thing and report it. I will NOT tolerate an adult driving their child around while their under the influence, and I ask that you do the same.

Animal Abuse: When it comes to the little critters in this world I consider my animals family. I am an active animal friendly activist, and I will turn in anyone that abuses an animal. I have three two cats, and one dog. One of my cats I saved from a horrible death when it was just four weeks old, and I carried this kitten around in my overall pockets, hand fed him, and nursed this baby kitten to health. I have a very special bond with this cat, and I call him "DUDE" UPDATE: Sadly our family member "Moo-Moo" passed away on October 28, 2008. We will miss him ... We love you Moo Moo!

Due to my love of animals, and the special bond I have with my cat I aggressively promote public awareness of products that has been proven to kill out pets.

The items are Flea & Tick drops, powder, shampoo, collars, and more. Countless animals (dogs, cats, bunnies, and more) have died violent deaths after the owner used these products on their pets. Class action lawsuits have been filed, and you can read all about this at HartzVictims.org
