I began using Paint Shop Pro in 1999, and everything I know was self taught. Later I began helping others within small groups and my enjoyment was to see how pleased the student was when they created with their Paint Shop Pro program. During that time newbies expressed to me that I explained things much better than other tutorials they have tried. They felt that I had the patience and time to help them. This inspired me in so many ways. My friendships and experience starting growing and became hooked on Paint Shop Pro.

Not to long after that people contacted me asking for help as they wanted to make websites to show their work to their friends and family.  I started helping others with designing graphics with Paint Shop Pro to add to their web pages, and it grew from there. This opened up a whole new level to Michele's Paint Shop, and I began tutoring others in both the program and web page design.

Since that time I've been growing, and making video screen cast tutorials both by public, and private tutoring. There's more to Michele's Paint Shop as I enjoy the challenge on helping others get their craft out to the world with branding, marketing, and achieve their goals. I've helped people from small business to graphic designers optimize and promote their websites.

The most popular sections of my site of course is the very popular Tubes and Tutorials sections. I receive messages that people have enjoyed the mix of clean tube's, and helpful tutorial's. The tutorial's are great fun to make with all the positive feedback as it encourages me to do so much more. I've been seeing a 30% increase in traffic to these areas each month. Due to this I am planning on expanding to offer more tutorials, services, and just good old PSP fun.

I was sitting here thinking of what my "signature" style would be, but I think I have more of a signature thought on ideas more than anything. I've always been very creative, and what I like to do is take an incomplete idea or vision and turn it into something that is one of a kind. I guess you could say I prefer to be called a "Creative Designer and an Educator". Present to me and tell me what you want from a business named -- paper-cone, and I can visually see a whole new brand or graphic being born from just a few words.

My motto and advice is to open up the Paint Shop Pro program, and never be fear it. Three tutorials and you will be ready to learn more about using PSP for image design and editing. Just open the program and follow your own rules because I believe that is one of the best ways to learn the program.

I've went through so many comfort zones over the years, but my longest run was working with Country - Primitive style graphics. This was great fun, but since then  I now enjoy  working with more of a cartoon style with a larger brighter color pallet.

Today, I wake up everyday and I look forward to going to work. How many people can say that today? I have been blessed, and as long as there is Paint Shop Pro, I am here to stay. I love it!

Where it has gone
This is not a job to me. I love what I do!

Today Michele's Paint Shop has grown to be a household and www brand name which has several professional team members. Our website continues to grow each week. We recently changed servers so that we could handle more traffic, and offer more information to you. We do not plan on stopping anytime soon so be sure to check back with us often.

We have been published in the Official Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo Magazine Issue 7, and our items have been included with the CD. We are hopeful that all of the Paint Shop Pro users out there will check out the Official Magazine and subscribe as it is full of great information to satisfy all levels of users.

Recently I've been tutoring college students on the side to help prepare them for their Web Design exams, and it has been fun.

We will continue to bring our visitors new tubes, tutorials, and more each month. We thrive to only get better, and look forward to our future with Paint Shop Pro - Dreamweaver - Search Engine Optimization, and more.

All Around Design

I am a freelance web designer, located in central/southern New Jersey. I have been in the field of web design for over ten years, and I can truly say that web design is my passion. I feel very blessed because I can sit here and tell you that I love my job.

I developed my first personal website in 1995 and my commercial website was launched in 1998. Over the years I have become skilled and experienced in several programs such as Paint Shop Pro and Dreamweaver. Other areas of my interest are Internet Marketing, particularly Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques and web analytics. I not only start websites from scratch, but I also help website owners that are not seeing the results they've hoped for. I review the current site, and explain to the client where the site is now. Once we discuss the current situation we then recommend some ideas to get you where you want to be.

A Bit More Personal and what I Promote
Things about me and what I promote while standing tall and firm

I am married, and I have two children. I live in New Jersey in waterfront community. When I am not working with web design projects I spend my time with my family. I consider my animals my family. I am an active animal friendly activist. I have three cats, and one dog. One of my cats I saved from a horrible death when it was just four weeks old, and I carried this kitten around in my overall pockets, hand fed him, and nursed this baby kitten to health. I have a very special bond with this cat, and I call him simply "DUDE" :) UPDATE: Sadly our family member "Moo-Moo" passed away on October 28, 2008. We will miss him ... We love you Moo Moo!

Due to my love of animals, and the special bond I have with my cat I aggressively promote public awareness of a product that has been proven to kill out pets.

The product is known as Hartz Flea & Tick drops, powder, shampoo, collars, and more. Countless animals (dogs, cats, bunnies, and more) have died violent deaths due to these products.
