How do you build a website with Paint Shop Professional X2 ?

Can you build a web page with PSP? I am asked this question at least once a week. There are a few ways to use this program and its tubes to design a website. To find out more about the steps on building a web page we will offer you some of those answers in the form of Video tutorials and more.

The Web Page Design with PSP tutorial. This video tutorial does not explain "all" the ways you can design a website, and it will not go into the reasons why you should or shouldn't build a website with this program. We will discuss the do's and don't of good web designs in our design tips sections. However, this video tutorial is only to show that you "can" build a web page with psp. I will add more video tutorials on other ways to build a web page, and optimize it for the search engines. PLEASE NOTE: This websites graphics were all made by me using the Corel Paint Shop Professional program. I have optimized the images for web viewing (72 dpi) so that the pages will load faster. Images you make within the PSP program for craft projects will be magnificent at 300 dpi. The images I made are tubed into a transparent format so that I could always use them again in the future. The images have also been saved in layered raw format so that I can edit them if needed. We are currently working with Corel and Adobe Creative Suite 3.

What are PSP Tubes and how do I use them?

A tube is a graphic that you use while using the program called Paint Shop Professional. After you design the perfect graphic you want to save it for future use and the best way would be to save it as a .psptube file.

The best way to describe a tube is to say it works like a stamp, but the ink never runs out. To the left you will see the tube in action animation that shows me using my tube tool. You can see I am working in layers with this graphic. The sample is a suncatcher with a teddy bear print. The bear is a transparent image that I pre-made last year. You will see different versions such as PSP X2 Tubes are also known as PSP 12. Other versions of this program can be found throughout the Internet because it is a very popular program. You can save hundreds of dollars compared to it's competition software, and I often call the PSP program "jack of all software.". The cost of this program is one of the reasons I went with Corel's software... the savings compared to other design programs is incredible. The popularity of this program has grown since version 8, and I expect it to continue to only get better with each version update. My personal opinion is that PSP X2 version 12 is their best one yet. This is the version I would recommend above all the rest.

Dreamweaver Video Tutorials:

Now that you have made all of those wonderful tubes, animations, logos, signature tags, and more do you want to show them off? How about building a website? You can easily show off your work, and even share it with others by having a website.

I've been using Dreamweaver for several years, and I am hooked on it. I use it seven days a week, 12+ hour a day. It is a great HTML editor that I highly recommend, and because I believe in it so much I offer video tutorials for everyone to learn how to use it. I've been helping others learn how to manipulate the Dreamweaver program since 2001, and have always enjoyed it. I just want to note that we are working on some great new tutorials that are highly optimized for your viewing and look forward to making new ones on a daily basis.
